Director's Message

Looking back through the corridor of time, we can easily see that man struggled to egg out a livelihood right through his life. And down through the centuries we have developed various kind of systems, philosophies and approaches to deal with our life situations. But even today the struggle continues. North East Diocesan Social Service Society (NEDSSS) was established to coordinate social, health and overall development of the people of north east through the Diocesan Social Service Societies (DSSSs). And so Forum was created in the year 1986 as a new region. That was also the time Caritas India took meaningful initiatives through animation approach, changing and shifting from project approach. It is true that we have come a long way. And NEDSSS has emerged as a big player in the field of Capacity Building and Resource Mobilization. And so the stately ship goes on to its haven under the hill, with delight in the past and hope for the future. Let us join hands together in this historic effort.

Yours Sincerely
Executive Director
